Oster's All-Stars Talent Show

Shine Bright, Oster All-Stars!

Open to all students in TK–5th grade

Why just watch the show when you can be the show? Oster Home & School Club is excited to present our annual Talent Show, organized by parent volunteers and open to all students with a talent to share!

Whether you sing, dance, play an instrument, perform magic, or show off a unique skill, we can’t wait to see it.

How to Participate

To perform in the Talent Show, both forms below must be completed and submitted by February 27 at 11:59 PM for each performer:

  • Talent Show Registration Form

  • Talent Show Parental Consent Form​ (Parents must complete a consent form for EACH performer)

We will accept up to 35 performance submissions. Once the limit is reached, additional submissions will be placed on a waitlist and contacted if space becomes available.

Anyone who submits a registration form will be given the opportunity to perform. However, performance videos and attendance at dress rehearsals are mandatory.

Each student may participate in only one Talent Show performance. Students may not perform in both a solo act and a group act, or participate in multiple group acts. No exceptions.

Performance Video Requirement

  • A video of the complete act you plan to perform is required for participation.

  • Please submit your performance video to talentshow@osterhsc.org

  • Please ensure your video follows all Talent Show guidelines.

Important Dates

  • February 6 – Registration opens at 7PM

  • February 27 (11:59 PM) – Deadline to submit Registration & Parental Consent forms

  • March 13 – Performance videos due (emailed to talentshow@osterhsc.org)

  • April 3 – Final performance approvals announced

  • April 17 – Edited music files due and uploaded to Oster Talent Show Google Drive

  • May 6 – Dress Rehearsal

  • May 13 – Dress Rehearsal

  • May 20 – Final Dress Rehearsal

  • May 22 Talent Show Performance (6:00 PM - 7:30 PM)

(All items below are required to complete registration.)

Performance Guidelines

Please review carefully before registering:

  • All acts must be 90 seconds or shorter

  • Performances may be solo or group acts. Group performances are limited to no more than 4 students per group.

  • You must submit a video of the act you plan to perform

  • After final approval, the act must be performed exactly as approved

  • All acts must be G-rated and school-appropriate

    • No inappropriate language (including lyrics)

    • No violence, weapons, unsafe behavior, or mature themes

  • All costumes, music, and movements must follow the school dress code

  • Suggestive content, lyrics, or movements are not allowed

Music & Audio Requirements

  • Performers using recorded music must:

    • Upload an edited music file (90 seconds or less) to the Oster Talent Show Google Drive

    • Label the folder with the performer’s first and last name

  • Edited music files are due by April 17

  • This applies to any act using recorded music (if not played live)

Singers:

  • Songs must be performed with:

    • Karaoke track

    • Instrumental track

    • A cappella

  • Tracks with lead vocals are not permitted

Mandatory Dress Rehearsals

Performers must attend all required dress rehearsals and arrive performance-ready, including costumes and props.

Parent Volunteer Support

The Talent Show is a special event made possible by parent volunteers. To help ensure a smooth and successful experience for all performers, we encourage families of participating performers to volunteer during the Talent Show season whenever possible.

Volunteer roles and time commitments will be shared after registration. We truly appreciate your support and partnership in helping make this event a success for our students.
