I have a 2nd grader here at Oster Elementary, and I’ve proudly lived in our neighborhood for most of my life, so serving our community has always been a passion of mine.

After graduating from Branham High School, I studied nursing but quickly realized that the music and entertainment industry was calling my name. I began working for Clear Channel Radio in San Francisco at Wild 94.9 as Head of Promotions and an on-air talent. From radio, I moved on to hosting red carpet interviews for TV networks like BET and MTV.

After several years in the radio industry, I transitioned into music education and joined Peapod Adobe Youth Voices, The Black Eyed Peas and Adobe's foundation. Following my time there, my husband and I moved to Los Angeles to continue our careers. I was then hired by the Recording Academy (The GRAMMYs), where I proudly worked on the Development team at the GRAMMY Museum, focusing on the importance of music education.

While living in LA, our son Manny was born. Soon after, we decided to move back home to the Bay Area to continue our journey close to family and community.
