PRESIDENT - Rebecca Taylor
I am the mom of two current Oster students (Amelia in 4th grade, Adelyn in Kindergarten) and one alumni (Audrey 6th grade) now at Dartmouth. I’m not afraid of getting my hands dirty (literally) as I was selected as the 2018-2019 Oster Volunteer of the year for my leadership in the revitalization of the garden. To do this, I spent hours writing grants, getting district approvals, creating plans, purchasing materials, organizing volunteers, and physically working in our new kindergarten and upper-grade gardens. Prior to “digging in” at Oster, I was a Process Engineer at Boeing and have held leadership positions at local non-profits. I not only love to see plants blossom and grow but also the community of Oster Elementary. |

CO-VICE PRESIDENT - Nicole Perakis
I am the mom of three boys. I have an 8th grader at Dartmouth and a 5th and 3rd grader at Oster. My 8th grader also went through Oster Elementary so I have been a part of the Oster community for 8 years. I have been involved with Project Cornerstone and Art Vistas, as well as helping in the classroom whenever possible. I have also been assisting with school picture day for the last 3 years. I am excited to be a part of the new board and hope to foster more community engagement with the Home and School Club. I’m looking forward to seeing more fun activities return to our campus for the kids and families to enjoy. |
